Day 2 - Bringing the outside in using 360° photography

Today, after a brief discussion about place and all the ways we can describe the places that make up our neighbourhood, we took to the streets, parks and community spaces to capture them with a 360° camera and bring those images into our virtual worlds.

We kicked off the Media Embassy with the our very first media making workshop in VR and Game making today! It was great meeting all the workshop participants! We had fun playing with some VR demos on the Oculus Go headsets and jumped right into making virtual worlds with CoSpaces! Day 4 - Making games, animations and experiences

Today we explored ways to add interactivity and animation using CoSpaces coding language - CoBlocks. Some of the more ambitious participants even managed to build a game! Check it out! Directions: Use your mouse and arrow keys to move around and discover the object that you can click on to move to the next level. Some of the other participants explored animating their models using code. While others made an interactive, animated comic!
